Tuesday 31 July was a very special day for resident Tom Donaghy as he celebrated his 100th birthday with residents, family and friends.  Tom, originally from Belfast is one of the original residents at the Retirement Complex, and “something of an icon about the place” according to the Manager, Maureen Beard.    Maureen speaks of him as “a lovely gentleman with a wicked twinkle in his eye.  Everyone loves him and his sense of humour”.

Tom cuts his cake decorated with special Irish colours, and plenty of shamrocks to the fore.
